The thousand years Kingdom of Jesus Christ…

Jesus Christ will be the king of this world…

He will rule in Jerusalem

The angel said to virgin Mary,, You will become pregnant and give

birth to a son, and you will name Him Jesus. He will be great and will

be called the Son of the Most High God. The Lord God will make Him

a  King, as  His ancestor David was, and He will be the King of the

Descendants of Jacob for ever; His Kingdom will never end!"

(Lucas 1:31-33)

The Bible is speaking about a period of 1000 years in which Jesus Christ will be the King and rule the whole world. All the nations of this world will then obey the government of Jesus Christ. The Devil will be then set into jail and over the whole world will be peace. The government of Jesus Christ will be in Jerusalem. The people of this world will then go to Jerusalem and listen to Jesus Christ and learn how to lead a life in agreement with the rules and laws of the Lord God. The passage in the Bible which describes the thousand years rein of Jesus Christ is written in revelation 20:1-4 where we read,, Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding in his hand the key of the abyss and a heavy chain. He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent- that is, the Devil, or Satan- and chained him up for a thousand years. The angel threw him into the abyss, locked it, and sealed it, so that he could not deceive the nations any more until the thousand years were over "

Jesus Christ, the Son of the man, the Son of David…..

In acts 1:6 we read,, When the apostles met together with Jesus, they asked Him "Lord, will you at this time give Kingdom back to Israel?"

This talk between Jesus and His apostles took place just before the Ascension of the Lord. In the time of Jesus, many people in Israel were convinced that Jesus Christ came to restore the Kingdom of Israel and liberate them from their enemies. The apostles of the Lord knew about the Millenarian or Millennium Kingdom and it was something quite normal to them. The fact that the apostles ask Jesus … Lord, will you at this time give Kingdom back to Israel?… makes quite clear that the Millenarian Empire is very close related with the people of Israel. So, the apostles of the Lord thought that our Lord Jesus Christ would restore the Kingdom of Israel, which was predicted long ago by the prophets of the Old Testament. The king would be then Jesus Christ and the centre of the Kingdom would be Jerusalem. Dear reader, now we can ask the question,, Why did the apostles ask this question to the Lord about restoring the Kingdom of Israel?" I mean, why was it quite normal to them to talk about the Thousand years Empire of Jesus Christ? How did they know about it? The apostles of the Lord have undoubtedly remembered the quotation of 1 Kings 2:45 where we read,, …the Lord will make the David's Kingdom secure for ever …" (see also 1 Kings 9:5, 2 Chronicles 6:16, Psalms 132:11).

With the Kingdom of David, the Kingdom of Jerusalem is meant! It is a government on this world, which can be observed by everybody! The apostles of the Lord thought that Jesus Christ would take the sit on the chair of King David in Jerusalem and rule this world during thousand years. They thought that He, as a descendant King David, would rule in Jerusalem. The fact that the apostles questioning Jesus about the thousand years Empire, means that this Empire on this world is clearly a tangible Empire with administration and power. This Empire under the supervision of Jesus Christ, that is the Kingdom of David, the thousand years Empire! Now we can ask the question: What is the meaning of this? Why is in particular David mentioned here? Why not Moses or someone else?

The Empire, which we are talking about, was established by King David! The Lord says to David,, You will have a son who will rule in peace, because I will give him peace from all his enemies. His name will be Salomon, because during his reign I will give Israel peace and security. He will build a temple for Me. He will be My son, and I will be His father. His dynasty will rule Israel for ever" (1 Chronicles 22:9-10)

As we can see here, the Lord says to the prophet David that he will have a son whose name will be Salomon. The Lord says that Salomon will build up the temple in Jerusalem, which he did so! On the place of the temple of Salomon is now the Al-Aqsa mosque build. However the Lord makes a remarkable promise when he says…. His dynasty will rule Israel for ever…

This makes quite clear that the centre of the Empire will be the Holy City of Jerusalem in Israel. Furthermore we can learn, that the Empire, the Throne of David and the people of Israel are very close related with each other, in fact they cannot be separated from each other. But now we can ask a few questions: King Salomon is for age's dead, so how can he rule forever? The Empire of Salomon was ended in the year 931 BC. How can Salomon rule forever, while he is already long time ago dead? What is the secret behind this? What did the Lord want to tell David when he said His dynasty will rule Israel for ever? Dear reader, here is something involved which is quite interesting and remarkable. The Word of the Lord God, which He told to David, is pointing out at the far future. Yes indeed, they point at the coming King, the Son of David, Jesus Christ. They form an indication to our Lord Jesus Christ as the Son of the Man (Matthew 9:6), as the Son of David (Matthew 9:27). Dear reader when you read the Holy Book the Bible, the New Testament, then you will discover that our Lord Jesus Christ is often called as the Son of God, as the Son of Man and as the Son of David. This has a very deep sense. It is certainly not without reason, it has an important reason! I will explain it to you in a moment.

The promises of the Lord God to King David, becomes very clear when we read the message of the angle Gabriel which he brought to Virgin Mary. In Luke 1:31 we read,, You will become pregnant and give birth to a son, and you will name Him Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High God. The Lord God will make Him a King, as His ancestor David was, and He will be the King of the Descendants of Jacob for ever; His Kingdom will never end!"

The Empire of Jesus Christ will be thus a tangible earthly Empire which will be observed by everyone and the whole world will be forced to obey the Great King Jesus Christ. There is nobody who can neglect the existence of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ. It may be a strange announcement when the Lord says .. ; His Kingdom will never end! , since there are millions of people world-wide who don't believe in Jesus Christ. In this time, there a many people who even have contempt for Jesus Christ, how is it possible that His kingdom will never end? How should we understand this? The point is thus, what is the meaning of this? The meaning of this is that the thousand years Government of Jesus has not started yet. It will begin in the future! It is a future perspective!

.. His ancestor David was Yes dear reader, Jesus Christ shall take the sit on the chair of His ancestor David in the Holy City of Jerusalem. He has not yet the authority on this world as the Son of Man, as the Son of David. His authority, as the Son of the Man, as the Son of David, in the world shall begin with the thousand years Empire which is described in the Holy Book the Bible.

The Throne of God… the Throne of David…

From the previous it became clear that the Empire of Jesus Christ is a tangible earthy Empire with Jerusalem as its capital City. Jesus Christ will be then the King and He will rule this world. Now I will explain the coming Empire of thousand years of Jesus Christ more in detail in the light of the Old Testament. We read in the Bible about the throne of the Lord God and the throne of David. These are total different issues. Jesus Christ is now sitting at the right side of God the Father (Mark 16:19) and has the authority over the heaven and the earth.

Psalms 110…..

The thousand years Empire of Jesus Christ is in detail described in the Old Testament. Here below a few quotations will be discussed. The King and Prophet David saw with the "eyes" of the Holy Spirit many events in the future happening. In Psalms 110:1 the Prophet David says about the thousand years Empire of Jesus Christ, The Lord said to my Lord, the King, "Sit Here at My right until I put your enemies under your feet" (See also Matthew 22:44, 26:64, Mark 16:19, Luke 22:69, Acts 2:33-34, 7:56, Romans 8:34, Ephesians 1:20, Colossians 3:1, Hebrew 1:3, 1:13, 10:12-13, 1Peter 3:22).

We should keep in mind that Jesus Christ had always emphasized in the Bible that, Everything which is written about Me, must happen". When Jesus was captured before His crucifixion, He says, But all this has happened in order to make what the prophets wrote in the Scriptures come true" (Matthew 26:56). This means that His birth, His crucifixion, His resurrection and His Ascension has happened in order to make true what the Prophets wrote in the Scriptures (Luke 24:44). That is exactly the reason that 1000 years Empire of Jesus Christ, which is revealed in the Old Testament, has to come yet in order to make true what is told by the Prophets.

The meaning of … Sit Here at My right… is the Ascension of Jesus Christ to the heaven (Acts 1:9). Jesus Christ has taken the sit at the Right of the Father, but as the Son of the Man, as the Son of David, He has no authority yet in this world.

……………….. until I put your enemies under your feet……………….

Our Lord Jesus Christ is sitting at the Right of the Father, but the Father has not yet put His enemies under His feet. He has not yet received the Authority over the world as the Son of David, as the Son of the Man. In Hebrew 10:12-13 we read the same words as before, namely, Christ however, offered one sacrifice for sins, an offering that is effective for ever, and then He sat down at the right-hand side of God. There He now waits until God puts His enemies as a footstool under His feet."

We can ask the question of: What is the meaning of … He now waits until God puts His enemies as a footstool under His feet?… The meaning of this is that once all of the enemies of Christianity will be put as a footstool under the feet of Jesus Christ. Jesus will be then the King of the whole world and everybody will be forced to obey the powerful King Jesus Christ. This will endure 1000 years.

Nowadays, there are a lot of nations who don't believe Jesus Christ. There are millions of peoples who even don't want hear about Him. When 1000 years Empire starts then all of these disobedient nations /people will obey Jesus Christ.

The millenarian Empire of Jesus Christ, His government……

We can ask a few questions regarding the thousand years Empire of Jesus Christ:

1.      What does it mean, when Jesus Christ will receive the power to rule this world?

2.      In other words, what is exactly the meaning of the millenarian Empire?

3.      How shall the millenarian Empire of Jesus Christ look like?

In Psalms 110:2 we read,, From Zion the Lord will extend your royal power. "Rule over your enemies,, He says "

With ..Zion or the Mountain of Zion…, is Jerusalem meant and with this, the people of Israel is meant. The Empire, or the government of Jesus Christ will be established in Jerusalem and from Jerusalem He will rule over His enemies, the world which had rejected Him. Yes, the world, which had rejected Him, will now be forced to obey Him! The world which had persecuted, dishonoured and crucified Him will now be His slave. The meaning of the millenarian Empire of Jesus Christ is perfectly described in Isaiah 2:1-5 (see also 11:1-9, 65:18-25, Micah 4:1-9) where we read,, In days to come the mountain where the temple stands will be the highest one of all, towering above all the hills. Many nations will come streaming to it, and their people will say, "Let us go up the hill of the Lord, to the Temple of Israel's God. He will teach us what He wants us to do; we will walk in the paths He has chosen. For the Lord's teaching comes from Jerusalem; from Zion He speaks to His people". He will settle disputes among great nations. They will hammer their swords into ploughs and their spears into pruning-knives. Nations will never again go to war, never prepare for battle again"

This quotation is a scene, which is observed by the Prophet Isaiah. The Prophet Isaiah saw Jesus Christ, His Royal Highness, as the King in Jerusalem who rules the whole world and has made report about this scene, so that we can learn something about it! That is exactly the reason that the apostle Paul says, ,, Everything written in the Scriptures was written to teach us… " (Romans 15:4)

I am going to discuss this scene, which Isaiah perfectly had described, in detail.

…. In days to come the mountain where the temple stands will be the highest one of all, towering above all the hills…

The fact that the prophet Isaiah speaks about .. In days to come.. makes clear that the message was not meant for the time of Isaiah, but for a specific time which yet has to come. It is something which will take place in the future and not at time of Isaiah. By the way, this term is very famous term in the Holy Scripture. It refers almost always to the coming time of the establishment of the millenarian Empire of King Jesus Christ.

In the Bible has the word .. mountain.. two meanings. It means sometimes literal and sometimes symbolic. Symbolically, the word mountains represent Countries, nations and Emperors. In this case, the meaning of the mountain is literal. It is the mountain on which Salomon had build the Temple for the Lord, the so-called the Temple of Salomon. On the place where the Temple of Salomon was build, nowadays the Al-Aqsa mosque is situated. The Temple of Salomon was destroyed in 70 after Christ.

When we read… the mountain where the temple stands…it means the centre of the Empire of Jesus Christ, thus Jerusalem. From Jerusalem Jesus Christ will govern this world with its inhabitants. It will be very strong, solid, powerful, reliable and glorious Empire. The Empire will be an Empire with order, with law and with justice. None of the generals or other people who serve the Empire will rebel against the powerful King Jesus Christ. All of those who serve the Empire will do this willingly and unconditionally.

…. the highest one of all, towering above all the hills….

The Empires, the countries, the governments which up to now are ruled by the humans - even if they are a based on the democratic system- all of these systems are not perfect! The best of all is the democratic systems. But even then, there is still unjust, violence, crime and immorality. However when the thousand years Empire of Jesus Christ will start, there will be everything perfect, it will be the highest one of all, towering above all the hills(Empires)! His Empire will be such remarkable and prefect Empire that it will exceed all of the Empires, which were ruled by humans, up to now. Yes, His government will be such an excellent, outstanding government of justice and love that it will not stay unnoticed. Everyone will see the millenarian Empire of Jesus Christ. In everything, the Empire will be totally different from the governments of the humans. The people of this world then cannot neglect the presence of King Jesus, the Son of David, who will take the sit on the chair of His father David. His government will be majestic, powerful and perfect. That is the meaning of …. the highest one of all, towering above all the hills.

…….Many nations will come streaming to it, and their people will say, "Let us go up the hill of the Lord, to the Temple of Israel's God. He will teach us what He wants us to do; we will walk in the paths He has chosen……

During the millenarian Empire of Jesus Christ, He will rule this world with iron hand, it means strong, powerful and authoritative. The governments of this world will in large numbers go to Jerusalem to listen to the laws of Jesus Christ. Over the whole world the peoples will go to Jerusalem to learn how to lead a life in accordance with the law of the Lord. They will say to each other... Let us go up the hill of the Lord, to the Temple of Israel's God. He will teach us what He wants us to do; we will walk in the paths He has chosen….

Dear reader, please pay attention to the fact that we read here… the Israel's God, or the God of Jacob. This has a very important reason, since here the involvement of the people of Israel with the thousand years Empire is emphasized! During the millenarian Empire of Jesus Christ, the people of this world will be forced to obey Jesus Christ! He shall rule with power!

… For the Lord's teaching comes from Jerusalem; from Zion He speaks to His people…

Our Lord Jesus Christ shall introduce law and order during the millenarian Empire. He will make laws in Jerusalem and people of the world shall go to Jerusalem to learn. The King Jesus will teach them how to handle with these laws and how to introduce these laws.

…….. He will settle disputes among great nations………….

During the millenarian Empire, Jesus Christ shall solve the problems between people and nations. Those nations will go to Jerusalem and hand over their mutual disputes to Jesus Christ in order to be solved. The Great King Jesus Christ, the Son of David, shall judge between powerful nations. In this way, there will be peace over the whole world under the direction of King Jesus Christ. A shadow empire for example was the empire of King Salomon. During his kingdom, there was everywhere peace and the people were impressed by his insights and understanding of justice and law (1 Kings 5:1-14). Therefore we can say that the empire of Salomon was a sort of predecessor of the coming Empire of Jesus Christ.

……. They will hammer their swords into ploughs and their spears into pruning-knives…..

Nowadays there are thousands of weapon factories which produce enormous amount of various weapons. Landmines, hand grenades, missiles, warplanes, warships, pistols, cannons, rifles, tanks etc…. Dare we to say that all of these weapon factories will be closed and switched over to produce baby food? And is it realistic to consider that all of this weaponry will be destroyed in one day? A few years ago, there was a documentary on the Discovery Channel about the world-wide problems of the landmines. They had calculated that to remove all of the landmines, you would need 100 years to achieve it!

During the millenarian Empire, Jesus Christ shall teach the people of this world about peace, about justice, about law and order. Those who do not obey him will be rebuked for their wrong way of life. Because the peace, the love, the honour, the justice and the dignity will be everywhere on this world, under the leadership of King Jesus Christ, the people of this world will have no any interest or whatsoever to fight with each other. There will be no any dispute or problem anymore to fight for, so why starting war? In this way the people will have no need any more to obtain weaponry and because of that ... They will hammer their swords into ploughs and their spears into pruning-knives…..

…….. Nations will never again go to war, never prepare for battle again…………..

The fact that during the millennium Empire of Jesus Christ the Nations will never again go to war is because of the fact that during the Empire the Satan will be set into jail as we have read before in Revelation 2:3,, He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent- that is, the Devil, or Satan- and chained him up for a thousand years.

Jesus Christ will be the King of the peace, the King of Justice, the King of the truth, the King of love and dignity.

The powerful King Jesus Christ…..

From the previous, became clear that the millennium Empire of Jesus Christ will be established in Jerusalem, the centre of the power and the reign. We can now ask the question: How shall He perform this? How shall He wield the power?

In Revelation 19:15 we read, Out of His mouth came a sharp sword, with which He will defeat the nations. He will rule over them with a rod of iron, and He will trample out the wine in the winepress of the furious anger of the Almighty God".

It was exactly this sharp sword with which the Assyrian Empire was destroyed and exterminated from this world. It is the same sword with which the antichrist will be destroyed! When our Lord Jesus Christ comes to world to establish His millennium Empire, many nations will rebel against Him (Revelation 19:19-21). However, our Lord Jesus Christ will crush them with a rod of iron. The meaning of iron is in general powerful, strong and tremendous taking a strong action against the enemy. Yes, dear reader, He will punish them until they surrender to the Great King Jesus Christ. The first time He came to this world (His birth), He was despised, dishonoured, humiliated and finally crucified by this world. The second time, when He comes to this world, He will chastise this world with the sharp sword out of His mouth and force them to obey Him. Regarding His first coming to this world and His crucifixion the prophet Isaiah had prophesied and said, He was treated harshly, but endured it humbly; He never said a word. Like a lamb about to be slaughtered, like a sheep about to be sheared (Isaiah 53:7). The first time when He came to this world, He was like a lamb to be slaughtered, the second time He will come as a powerful Lion who rules this world. Nobody dare to rebel against the Great King Jesus Christ. He will tear up like a Lion those who dare to challenge His Majesty.

In Psalms 2:7-9 we read "I will announce" says the king, "what the Lord has declared. He said to Me: 'You are My Son; today I have become your father. Ask, and I will give all the nations; the whole earth will be yours. You will break them with an iron rod; you will shatter them in pieces like a clay pot"

These are the prophetic words of King David regarding the millennium Empire of the coming, Jesus Christ. Dear reader, please pay again attention to ...iron rod… and ….shatter them in pieces…. This makes clear that the powerful King Jesus, the Lion from the tribe of Judah, the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords will rule this world as the Great King and lawyer. The people of this world will be ruled in a powerful and unrivalled way!

The nowadays situation is quite different. The true Christians are persecuted and insulted, like Jesus has been insulted and persecuted. His answer to the true Christians is, If the world hates you, just remember that it has hated Me first. If you belonged to the world, then the world would love you as its own. But I chose you from this world, and you do not belong to it; that is why the world hates you. Remember what I told you: 'No slave is greater than his master.' If they persecuted Me, they will persecute you too, if they obeyed My teaching, they will obey yours too" (John 15: 18, 20)

In the present-day situation the true Christians are rejected and mocked by the world, like they have mocked and rejected Jesus Christ. Well then, says our Lord Jesus Christ, it is because you, the true Christians, belong to Me and not to the world! You are My brothers and sisters and that is exactly the reason that the people of this world slander and mock at you. This is also the sense of the apostle Paul when he says,, Everyone who wants to live a godly life in union with Christ Jesus will be persecuted… (2 Timothy 3:12)

Every Christian who wants to lead a live in agreement with the wiliness of the Lord God will be persecuted either by his family, friends or by other people. Anyway, it becomes quite clear that those who don't lead a live in agreement with the world, will get difficulties in this world. However, when the millennium Empire of Jesus Christ will start, the true Christians will get the Winners Crown. The true Christians shall together with Jesus Christ rule the world, yes dear reader, they will rule the world which had persecuted the true Christians and Jesus Christ.

In Daniel 7:14 we read,, He was given authority, honor, and royal power, so that the people all nations, races, and languages would serve Him. His authority would last forever, and His Kingdom would never end "

Here you have Jesus Christ as de Great King who is ruling this world. Please pay attention to the fact that … all nations, races, and languages would serve Him… This is the Son of David, the Son of Man who has taking the sit on the Chair of His forefather David. This is the man who was persecuted and crucified by this world.

The task of the true Christians….

From the previous, it becomes clear that Jesus Christ will rule this world as the Great Lion. The whole world will be forced to obey and serve Him. His first coming to this world, the Lord was persecuted, in the same way the true Christians nowadays are persecuted by this world. The question is now: When the millennium Empire of Jesus Christ will start, what will be the task of the true Christians? Will Jesus share the power them? What is exactly their task?

Before the millenarian Empire can start, first a lot of organizational matters should be settled. We saw for example that the people of this will go to Jerusalem to listen to the Great King Jesus Christ. But how will this be done? I mean He will introduce laws, but how will be the implementation of these laws? And who will be the members of the government of Jesus Christ? Who will be His ministers and ambassadors and other officials? Jesus Christ will rule the whole world, but how will this be done? I repeat again the question, what will be the task of the true Christians? How will they serve Him?

In Matthew 19:27-28, the apostle Peter says "We have left everything and followed you. What will we have?" Jesus said to them, "You can be sure that when the Son of Man sits on His glorious throne in the New Age, then you twelve followers of mine will also sit on thrones, to rule the twelve tribes of Israel"

….sit on thrones … That is what the apostles of the Lord will have when the millenarian Empire will start. The apostles of the Lord get the same glory as the Lord Himself. They will rule over the twelve tribes of Israel. This means that the apostles get the task to serve as His judges over the people of Israel. They act on behalf of Jesus Christ! Please pay attention to the fact that Jesus says…. Son of Man sits on His glorious throne. The Son of Man is typically a term which expresses the Humanity of Jesus Christ. It is a term which emphasis the earthy government of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ will then rule this world as the Son of Man.

In Revelation 2:26-27 we read, To those who win the victory, who continue to the end to do what I want, I will give the same authority that I received from My Father: I will give them authority over the nations, to rule them with an iron rod and break them to pieces like clay pots"

As we saw before, Jesus Christ was persecuted and humiliated during His life on this world. Therefore the world and the false Christians will persecute the true Christians too. Our Lord and God Jesus Christ says now, Well then, when you stay faithful to me and keep My commands to endure, then I will give the authority over the world (nations). The world has persecuted and humiliated you, because you were faithful to Me, in the same way I will give you the authority over this world to rein and punish the people.

The meaning of .. iron rod .. is that the true Christians will have the possibility to rule the world by means of force. Probably some nations will refuse to obey Jesus Christ during the millennium Empire. The task of the true Christians is to punish them in order to obey Jesus Christ.

In Revelation 3:21 we read,, To those who win the victory I will give you the right to sit beside Me on My throne, just as I have been victorious and now sit by My Father in the heaven on His throne"

This sentence is extremely important and emphasis the love of our Lord Jesus Christ for the true Christians. Can you imagine that a king of this world will tell his servants "come and sit beside me? That is out of the questions!" From the quotation becomes however quite clear that Jesus Christ will share the power with the true Christians. The true Christians will have the function of ministers and officials who will rule the government on behalf of the Great King Jesus Christ. But dear reader, the true Christians are at the same time the brothers and sisters of Jesus Christ. That means that the officials in the government of Jesus Christ have a very deep en sensitive relationship with the powerful King Jesus Christ.

When our Lord Jesus Christ says… My throne… then it means His throne on the chair of His forefather King David in Jerusalem. His throne is always indicating His government in Jerusalem during 1000 years.

Furthermore, our Lord tells us that He had been suffered, but this suffer was to glorify the name of God the Father. I have been victorious and so I am sitting on His throne in the heaven. In the same way, when you stay faithful to Me in spite of all kind of setback, then I will give you the right to sit beside Me on My throne. Actually He wants to say, I will share the power with you"

I have discussed Hebrew 10:12-13 before, but I will emphasis more important points. The concerning sentence is ,, Christ however, offered one sacrifice for sins, an offering that is effective for ever, and then He sat down at the right-hand side of God. There He now waits until God puts His enemies as a footstool under His feet."

The term … His enemies as a footstool… makes quite clear that Our Lord Jesus Christ as the Son of God will rule this world in Jerusalem. All of His opponents will bend over for the Great King Jesus Christ.

At this moment, our Lord is waiting on the time when He will receive the authority to rule this world. Right now He is sitting on the throne of God the Father as God the Son. He will establish His Kingdom 1000 years in Jerusalem.

In 2 Timothy 2:12 we read,...If we continue to endure, we shall also rule with Him…"

Dear reader, Jesus Christ demands from us, Whoever does not take up his cross and follow in My steps is not fit to be My disciple" (Matthew 10:38). Our Lord has suffered a lot of pain, distress and dishonor. The Lord now says to us, If you are not prepared to follow Me exactly in the same way, that means … take up his cross…, then you are not worth to be My disciple". So, when the true Christians continue to endure, means that they will rule together with Jesus Christ!

In Luke 22:28-29 we read,, You have stayed with Me all through My trials; and just as My Father has given Me the right to rule, so I will give you the same right. You will eat and drink at My table in My Kingdom, and you will sit on thrones… "

Please pay attention to ... right to rule... eat and drink… My Kingdom …This expresses the earthy Kingdom of Jesus Christ with government and officials. The rest of the sentence and the other previous sentences give very strong testimony regarding the 1000 years Empire of Jesus Christ so that more explanation is unnecessary.

Everywhere peace in the millennium Empire of Jesus Christ…

From the previous story we have learned that the Empire of Jesus Christ will be established in Jerusalem. From Jerusalem, the King Jesus Christ shall rule this world. King Jesus Christ, the Son of David, shall share the power with the true Christians. But now, we can ask the question: How will be the situation in the millennium Empire of Jesus Christ? How about the animals? How about the environment? How about the nature? Anyway, does the Holy Book the Bible inform us about the situation of the 1000 years Empire of Jesus Christ?

Yes dear reader, yes! The Lord God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob has revealed in detail the situation of the Empire of Jesus Christ. Taking a look at the Old Testament, the 1000 years Empire is foretold by many prophets. But, in particular, the prophet Isaiah has made a remarkable description of the 1000 years government of Jesus Christ.

In Isaiah 65:18-25 (see also Isaiah 11:1-9) we read,, The New Jerusalem I make will be full of joy, and her people will be happy. I myself will be filled with joy because of Jerusalem and her people. There will be no weeping there, no calling for help. Babies will no longer die in infancy, and all people will live out their life span. Those who live to be hundred will be considered young. To die before that would be a sign that I had punished them. People will rebuild houses and live in them themselves- they will not be used by someone else. They will plant vineyards and enjoy the wine- it will not be drunk by others. Like trees, My people will live long lives. They will fully enjoy the things that they have worked for. The work they do will be successful, and their children will not meet with disaster. I will bless them and their descendants for all time to come. Even before they finish praying to Me, I will answer their prayers. Wolves and lambs will eat together; lions will eat straw, as cattle do, and snakes will no longer be dangerous. On Zion, My sacred hill, there will be nothing harmful or evil…..

Wolves and sheep will live together in peace, and leopards will lie down with young goats. Calves and lion cubs will feed together, and little children will take care of them. Cows and bears will eat together, and their calves and cubs will lie down in peace. Lions will eat straw as cattle do. Even a baby will not be harmed if it plays near a poisonous snake. On Zion, God's sacred hill, there will be nothing harmful or evil. The land will be as full of knowledge of the Lord as the seas are full of water" (Isaiah 11:6-9)

If we study the above-mentioned quotations, it is something unbelievable! It is something, which you cannot imagine with normal imagination, because it is beyond everything which you can imagine. It is certainly not logical in the sense that humans think! On the contrary, it is quite different than we are used to. I mean, can you imagine that a lion and a cow will live together? Is that something logical to you? And can we imagine that a baby will come in face with a cobra or adder without any danger???? Can you imagine that a wolf and a sheep shall live together??? Is this little bit not unnatural to you?

Dear reader, this is now the thousand years government of our Lord Jesus Christ! Yes certainly Yes, this inconceivability will become reality!!! Because when Jesus Christ will accept the authority over this world then all of the mentioned things will become reality! It will be Empire beyond all of the Empires of the humans up to now. It will be different in all of its respects. Here below I will discuss a few sentences more in detail.

……… and all people will live out their life span. Those who live to be hundred will be considered young. To die before that would be a sign that I had punished them…….

Here the Holy Book the Bible reveals something about age of the humans. Reaching an age of 100 years is considered as young. When a person dies at the age of 100 years, means he/she is still a child. This implies that the growth phase from child to maturity will endure 100 years. So, it is obvious that the people can become very old! How old exactly? Well, the Lord says, Like trees, My people will live long lives,, . How hold can a tree grow? A tree can grow 100, 200, 500 and even 1000 years (the oak tree). It is possible that some people will reach an age of 1000 years!

This implies of course about the peace, which will take place in the world of animals. The whole nature shall change. Because of the fact that Jesus Christ will be the King, peace will be established everywhere, in the humans world as well as in the world of animals. This is because the knowledge of the Lord God will occur everywhere and therefore, nobody will harm someone else!

…… a baby will not be harmed if it plays near a poisonous snake……

There will be a renewed relationship between the animals and the humans. There will be peace everywhere and on the every level, from low to high, the perfection will be there. The snake is typically an enemy of the humans (Genesis 3:14-15), but during the Empire of Jesus Christ there will be no hostility anymore.

……….They will fully enjoy the things that they have worked for. The work they do will be successful, and their children will not meet with disaster. I will bless them and their descendants for all time to come. Even before they finish praying to Me, I will answer their prayers…………

…..On Zion, God's sacred hill, there will be nothing harmful or evil. The land will be as full of knowledge of the Lord as the seas are full of water…..

Like I told before, Zion points always out onto the mountain hill on which the Temple of Salomon was build, which is today occupied by the Moslem Mosque of Al-Aqsa. During the Empire of Jesus there will be everywhere justice and peace. The nature, the climate will completely be changed under the authority of King Jesus Christ. There will be no pain and distress anymore, because the Knowledge of the Lord God is everywhere and in everything, the humans, the nature and the animals. In addition, there will be a situation created which has never been on this world since the fall of Adam and Eva in the Garden of Eden.

Dear reader, if we examine the previous essay accurately, then it will become clear that the described Empire of Jesus Christ will be something perfect in all its respects. Jesus Christ Himself will be the focus point. He will be in the middle of the people, He will speak with the people and everyone will see Him. This situation will be exactly the same situation before the fall of Adam and Eva. This means that the perfect relationship between the humans and the Lord God will be restored during the Empire of Jesus Christ. The terrible result of the fall of Adam and Eva in the Garden of Eden will be then overturned. The situation will be set back to the time before the fall of Adam and Eva. About this situation and the relationship between the Lord and the humans is described in Genesis 2:19-20, 3:8-13. Genesis 2:19-30 is in particular interesting for our subject. We read,, So He (=the Lord) took some soil from the ground and formed all the animals and all the birds. Then He brought them to the man to see what he would name them; and that is how they all got their names. So the man named all the birds and all the animals…. "

Here we see at one side the relationship between the Lord God and the man and at the other side between the man and the animals. The Lord God talks and walks with the man, the Lord just brings the animals to the man. He is there in person! There is a tradition of the Syrian-Orthodox Church which says that, Adam communicated with the animals". So, during the Millennium Empire of Jesus Christ, the situation of the Fardayso (=Paradise) will be restored and that will be a perfect and beautiful situation which never take place after the fall of Adam and Eva!

Conclusion…

We saw in this essay that the Thousand-Year Empire of Jesus Christ will be established in Jerusalem. Jesus Christ, the Son of Man, the Son of David will then take the sit on the chair of David, on the chair of Salomon and rule this world. The nations of this world shall go to Jerusalem and listen to Jesus Christ and obey His rules and laws He will give them. He will be a powerful, strong and authoritative King who will rule this world. Jesus Christ, the Great King will rein the nation with iron rod, that means that He shall force those who rebel against Him, to obey Him and introduce His laws.

During the Millennium Empire of Jesus Christ, the Satan will be set into jail so that he cannot mislead the nations. Therefore, there will be everywhere peace over the whole world and the people will not wage war anymore. In the same way, as in the time of King Salomon, many people will go to Jerusalem and ask Jesus Christ to settle disputes among them. There will be peace in the world of animals, in the nature, in the environmental and in the world of humans. Nobody will harm someone else, because the knowledge of the Lord God will be everywhere and known by everybody!

The task of the true Christians in the Millennium Empire will be to rule together with the powerful King Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ carries out His authority together with the true Christians, in fact He will share His authority with the true Christians.
